A local native of Suffolk, Billy graduated in 1973 with a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and received his M.B.A. in 1974. After starting his real estate company, he became an appraiser which has given him the ability to value real estate fairly and equitably. He is able to put this expertise, along with over 30 years of experience, to work bringing Buyers and Sellers together.

Billy began his real estate career in 1975, and three years later established Chorey and Associates Realty in Suffolk. Since that time, he and his company have been extremely successful and won the Small Business of the Year Award in 1996. Hard work, dedication, and absolute honesty are qualities that Billy instills in his agents and he leads them by example. He also has found time for other duties including being on the Board of Directors of a local bank, past president of the Suffolk Rotary Club, and holds positions on several local City boards.
